Working primarily with the Housing Access and Wellbeing Management Team, you will work closely with teams across the wider Neighbourhoods and Housing Service and Corporate Finance to support the implementation and co-ordination of project performance frameworks and methodologies, ensuring outcomes are captured, spend is monitored and evidenced and quality assurance arrangements are in place and robust.
Flexible and with excellent organisation skills, a proactive approach and the ability to analyse and interpret detail, you will play an instrumental role in obtaining evidence to provide timely and accurate programme progress updates to the management team and be responsible for the submission of time sensitive, compliant grant monitoring returns and submissions as required by the funders. Funders include The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG), Home Office (HO) and Public Health England (PHE).
Keeping abreast of advertised funding opportunities that align with service priorities, you will also act as the key point of contact for funders and programme partners, ensuring regular, consistent communication is maintained with relevant programme and project managers internally and through external partnership arrangements.
It is essential that you are numerate and competent in the use of Microsoft packages, including Excel. A broad understanding of homelessness and related social issues, as well as an awareness of financial accounting principles are required for this role. However, training will be offered to the successful candidate and you will have an opportunity to influence and shape the role.
