Summary
Hull City Council are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Governance and Compliance Assistant to join a small team, we are looking for a highly motivated conscientious and efficient individual who is customer focused and able to work to tight deadlines in a demanding environment.
You must have previous experience of working in an office/administration environment including processing requests for goods and services, following procurement procedures resolving discrepancies as necessary and preparing financial documents for payment, raising invoices and processing journals.
In the role, you will coordinate FOI requests Incident Management Rota, and assist with internal and external audit plans, and compliance checks.
You will assist with the ICT facilities management, including coordination of standard health and safety checks and key infrastructure maintenance such as UPS, Air Conditioning Units & ensuring building log books are updated.
