IntroductionThis is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for an experienced Facilities Area Manager within the commercial cleaning sector. Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, you will oversee multiple sites across the South West, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality cleaning services.
You will support, manage, supervise, and coordinate cleaning teams in partnership with relevant Line Managers to maintain reliable service standards across all locations.
Key Duties-
Support cleaning teams and site supervisors in delivering services to individual clients.

Oversee staff allocation and provide cover for planned or unplanned absences.

Build positive relationships with client representatives, ensuring services meet operational needs.

Manage stock levels and storage across all sites, reporting discrepancies to Head Office.

Conduct monthly site inspections, audits, and quality checks, compiling KPI reports as agreed with clients.

Ensure compliance with company, site, and statutory regulations regarding safety, hygiene, and cleanliness.

Report customer complaints to Line Managers and maintain professional communication at all times.

Promote energy efficiency and maximise recycling opportunities.

Attend meetings and training courses, particularly relating to Health & Safety and Manual Handling.

Experience in a supervisory or management role within the commercial cleaning sector.

Adaptable and willing to support teams across various locations.

Strong team player with excellent communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure in a multi-site environment.

Passion for motivating and supporting teams to deliver consistently high standards.

Clean UK driving licence (company car provided).

Enhanced DBS required.

£35,000 per annum salary.

Full-time role, 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday.
