About the Role

We are opening a brand-new residential children's home in Liverpool (L11) and are looking for dedicated, compassionate, and resilient Residential Childcare Workers to join our founding team.

You will play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for children and young people. Working as part of a supportive team, you will help promote positive outcomes and support each young person in reaching their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and emotional support to children and young people

  • Build positive, professional relationships based on trust and respect

  • Support young people with daily routines, education, and appointments

  • Promote independence, life skills, and positive behaviour

  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning

  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of children at all times

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals

  • Participate in sleep-in duties (paid at £60 per sleep)

What We're Looking For
  • Passion for working with children and young people

  • Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Flexible approach to shift work, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins

  • Previous residential childcare experience desirable (but not essential for the right candidate)

  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards)

  • Full UK driving licence (desirable)
