• Working Days: Day shift, night shift, weekends
• Shift Pattern: Various shift patterns available, operating 24hrs 7 days a week (to be discussed further during interview).Provide guidance to keep young people safe from harm, support their educational needs. Support and assist them with their daily activities.
•Promote independence and encourage young individuals to participate in social and recreational fun activities. No qualifications needed, practical experience important
•Accompany young person when travelling to appointments.
•Provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment to ensure the physical and mental wellbeing of the young person.
•Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members to evaluate and ensure that care provided is effective.Being enthusiastic, compassionate, and committed to supporting young people.
•Strong communication skills and active listening skills to confidently interact with young individuals, their families and team members.
•Experience of working with children is highly desirable, however training will be provided.
•Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
•Child safeguarding qualification would be advantageous however this can be obtained prior to start date.
Certification:
•Enhanced DBS check.
