The School of Workforce Development at South Thames College is seeking a dedicated Sessional Lecturer/Assessor to deliver high-quality training, assessment, tutoring and mentoring, and where appropriate, internal verification.
You will be responsible for delivering Security courses, with expertise in Conflict Management, Physical Intervention, and CCTV as well as Level 2 Spectator Safety courses. Experience and qualifications in IQAs and the ability to deliver Level 3 Spectator Safety courses would be an advantage.
As our Lecturer/Assessor, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering qualifications and of training and producing teaching resources. You will hold a Level 3 or higher qualification in the relevant sector, a teaching qualification, and a relevant assessor qualification.
You’ll be an organised and proactive individual, able to communicate effectively at all levels both orally and in writing, with the ability to use initiative and prioritise effectively. Proficient in IT system (MS office, online tracking systems, registration processes), you’ll be able to support and tutor learners throughout qualification.
This role is based at the Tooting Campus, but may include delivery across the group sites, off-site classrooms and working outside normal working hours of work.
