Crynodeb
Powys has the most extensive highway network in Wales, and is responsible for ensuring the effective management, maintenance, and improvement of all highway assets. You will be joining a forward-thinking, innovative, and supportive team within Highways, as we look to develop asset management processes that are both robust and cost effective.
Alongside general support, you will provide a high-level of IT technical support and guidance to the team managing the maintenance, improvement, regulatory, and asset management functions of the highway network to provide an efficient and effective service. You will be responsible for the day-to-day support of our highway software system ranging from new user set up, to end user troubleshooting, as well as to
monitor, analyse and report on compliance with the Highways Asset Management Plan. You will also provide support for systems development, upgrades and roll outs.
