- As an Investment Risk Analyst, you’ll become a key player in shaping the decisions that drive our investment decision making process

What you'll do
You’ll deliver timely and accurate risk and performance quantitative analysis and prepare risk and performance reports for investment decisions boards.
You’ll maintain your strong knowledge of multi-asset portfolios management including bonds, equities, hedge funds, private markets, alternative strategies and derivative instruments.
As well as this, you’ll be:
- Supporting senior management with the enhancement of the risk management framework including market, liquidity and counterparty risks
- Monitoring, analysing and reporting market and concentration risk of portfolios, including ex-ante forecasting, decomposition and stress testing
- Building strong knowledge of investment performance calculation and decomposition techniques
- Promoting the exchange of investment views and ideas to enhance team knowledge
- Collaborating with investment strategy and portfolio constructions teams to automate risk analysis using technology and programming tools
The skills you'll need
We’re looking for someone with strong knowledge of risk measurement techniques and an excellent understanding of financial markets and investment theory. You’ll have experience in an analytical role, such as investment risk management or quantitative research, alongside a technical background with excellent problem-solving skills.
You’ll also need experience in an asset or wealth management firm or hedge fund, paired with a strong understanding of risk models used by wealth managers and clients suitability issues.
Additionally, you’ll need:
- Strong knowledge of risk and performance measurement techniques and investment theory
- Experience in investment risk management or quantitative research
- Technical skills with experience in programming
- Familiarity with risk models, performance attribution, market data providers, and external risk systems
- Previous experience in asset or wealth management or hedge funds
