Maths Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary role starting April 2026

Duties as Maths Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons for KS3 and KS4
- Support pupils in developing strong numeracy and problem‑solving skills
- Maintain high behaviour expectations and promote positive routines
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet a range of learning needs
- Contribute to departmental planning and collaborative approaches
- Assess progress within lessons and provide constructive feedback
- Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare
Ideal Maths Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Maths
- Strong subject knowledge and ability to teach confidently at secondary level
- Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to motivate and support learners of varied abilities
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Reflective, proactive, and committed to pupil progress
- Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting pupil well‑being
