Summary

SureCare Central London, a CQC‑registered care provider, is seeking a compassionate female Dementia‑Trained Support Worker to support a service user living in N5 (Islington).

This role involves companionship and practical day‑to‑day support only. No personal care is required.

Due to the preferences and needs of the service user, this position is open to female applicants only.

Role information
Job title: Dementia‑Trained Support Worker
Location: N5, Islington
Hours:
1 hour per day
Monday to Sunday
10:00am – 11:00am
Additional hours may be available for hospital appointments and shopping

Start date: Immediate
Key responsibilities
Dementia‑aware companionship and emotional reassurance
Supporting a calm, structured daily routine
Light meal preparation
Medication prompts
Light household tasks
Accompanying the service user to appointments or shopping when required

Please note: the service user has cats, so applicants must be comfortable working in a pet‑friendly home.
Candidate requirements
Dementia training or relevant experience
Female carer (due to service user preference)
Kind, patient, and reliable approach
Good communication skills
Right to work in the UK
Enhanced DBS preferred

Additional information
This role would particularly suit someone who is available during school hours and looking for extra income.

There are also more hours available with other clients in the near vicinity, offering the potential to build up a local schedule.
