Summary

SureCare Central London is seeking compassionate, reliable, and dementia‑trained Care Assistants to support individuals living with dementia in their own homes and in community settings.

This is a rewarding role where you will make a real difference by promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life through person‑centred dementia care.

Key Responsibilities

Providing high‑quality dementia care in line with individual care plans
Supporting clients with personal care, medication prompts, and daily routines
Offering emotional reassurance and meaningful companionship
Using effective communication techniques to support individuals with memory loss
Monitoring and reporting changes in clients’ wellbeing
Working in line with CQC regulations, company policies, and best practice
Essential Requirements

Previous experience supporting individuals living with dementia
Completion of dementia awareness or dementia care training (or willingness to undertake training)
A caring, patient, and respectful approach
Good written and spoken English
Right to work in the UK
Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
Desirable (but not essential)

NVQ / QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
Experience in home care, supported living, or residential settings
Medication administration training
Knowledge of person‑centred and life‑story approaches
