About the RoleWe are recruiting an organised, proactive and people‑focused HR Administrator to support the smooth day‑to‑day running of HR operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to develop a long-term career in HR, including those with limited experience but a strong desire to progress. You will act as a first point of contact for HR‑related queries and support activities across the employee lifecycle. This role requires excellent administrative skills, attention to detail and a confidential approach to handling sensitive information.
Key ResponsibilitiesHR Administration & Data Management
- Maintain and update personnel records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare HR documentation, including contracts, offer letters and onboarding packs.
- Ensure HR systems and communication channels operate efficiently.
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Support the full recruitment cycle, including posting vacancies, screening applicants and arranging interviews.
- Coordinate onboarding processes such as right‑to‑work checks, induction planning and new starter documentation.
- Support hiring managers with recruitment‑related administration.
Employee Support
- Act as a first point of contact for routine HR and policy queries.
- Manage absence records, annual leave requests and basic HR reporting.
- Assist with employee engagement, training coordination and wellbeing initiatives.
Compliance & Policy Support
- Support audits of HR records to ensure compliance with internal policies and employment legislation.
- Assist in maintaining and updating HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure smooth offboarding processes, including exit documentation and system updates.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to handle confidential information.
- Competent with Microsoft Office applications; willingness to learn HR systems.
- Ability to work proactively, prioritise tasks and manage deadlines.
Experience & QualificationsThis role is open to candidates at early stages of their HR career:
- Previous experience in HR is beneficial but not essential.
- Administrative experience (in any sector) is advantageous.
- Interest in HR and desire to pursue professional development in the field.
- Formal HR or business-related qualifications are helpful but not required.
