We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering company for an experienced CNC Machinist to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist looking for long-term stability, a great work–life balance, and an early finish on Fridays.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm

Friday: 7:30am – 12:30pm (early finish)

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting and operating CNC machines, with a strong preference for experience on Mazak machines using Mazatrol controls
• Producing precision components to tight tolerances
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Carrying out tool changes, offsets, and basic program edits
• Ensuring quality standards are met through self-inspection
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Experience with Mazak / Mazatrol controls (essential or highly desirable)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures within a machine shop
