Design & Technology Teacher – Barnoldswick

Humly is recruiting a Design & Technology Teacher to join a secondary school on a long-term basis.

This is a full-time role starting 23/02/2026 and continuing until 17/07/2026. This role would suit a confident and adaptable practitioner who can deliver practical and theory-based lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 while maintaining high standards of behaviour, safety, and pupil engagement.

What You’ll Be Doing

Deliver engaging Design & Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

Plan and prepare practical and theory-based learning activities

Maintain high standards of behaviour and pupil engagement

Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment

Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback as appropriate

What You’ll Bring

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching Design & Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4

Strong classroom management and organisational skills

Ability to deliver both practical and theory-based lessons

Adaptability to meet the needs of all learners

Pay

Paid to scale from day one: £168.80 – £232.57 per day

Important Information

Secondary school-based position

Enhanced DBS required (Humly can support with an Enhanced DBS at a cost to the educator)
