Summary

Food Technology Teacher – Barnoldswick

Humly is recruiting a Food Technology Teacher to join a secondary school on a long-term basis.

This is a full-time role starting ASAP and continuing until July 2026. The role would suit a confident and enthusiastic practitioner who is able to deliver engaging, practical Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, while maintaining high standards of teaching, learning, and health and safety.

What You’ll Be Doing

Planning and delivering Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

Leading practical sessions with a strong focus on health and safety

Assessing pupil progress and providing constructive feedback

Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve positive outcomes

Maintaining an engaging and well-managed learning environment

Contributing positively to the wider life of the school

What You’ll Bring

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

Confidence delivering practical-based lessons

A proactive and adaptable teaching approach

A commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing

Pay

Paid to scale from day one: £168.80 – £232.57 per day (M1 – M6)
