We'd like you to join us as a Children's Support Worker in Wavertree, Liverpool.


What you'll be doing:

This role is to support a 9 year old boy with autism, epilepsy and challenging behaviour in his family home and out in the community for after school / weekend shifts. All shifts will be double ups (two support workers on shift together). You will also be required to take him swimming.

You must hold a full UK drivers licence and be over the age of 25 to drive the client's vehicle.



Shifts:

  • Tuesdays & Thursdays 4pm - 7pm and Saturdays 10am - 3pm
  • The above hours are for term time and hours will increase during non term time
  • We have lots of other children's packages in Liverpool you can work across for additional hours

What we need from you:

  • Full UK Drivers licence
  • A passion for working with children
  • Have a genuine interest in providing the best person centered care possible
  • Willingness to learn and develop
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Maintain professional boundaries with the client and their family members, adhering to direction from the care manager as appropriate
