The College is looking to recruit an Estates Caretaker on a full-time, permanent basis.

The hours of work are 36.25 hours per week, throughout the year, and the salary is Points 6 of the Support Staff Salary Scale (£25,558 per annum), plus an annual enhancement of £500 per annum for call-outs, plus an hourly rate.

The 36.25 hours per week will be worked on a rotating, four weekly shift pattern consisting of:

Weeks 1 to 3: Monday to Friday 6.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m.

then

The post holder must be available during out of work hours for emergency call out (mobile phone provided). Occasional weekend working will be required. This is undertaken on a rota basis by all of the team. The postholder will be required to provide cover for College evening events and the absence of other members of the premises team as appropriate, including evenings, sometimes at short notice.
