What skills and experience we're looking for

The successful candidate will be passionate about Mathematics at Key stages 3, 4 and 5 and have the ability and drive to develop mathematics’ teaching expertise in others. They will be an excellent leader of people and understand how to secure the very best outcomes for all of our students.

What the school offers its staff

The Joseph Whitaker School is a popular 11-18 school, in Rainworth, a village just outside of Mansfield. It serves the three local villages of Blidworth, Rainworth and Ravenshead and has around 1360 students.

Due to the current post holder working towards a phased retirement, we are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and experienced leader to lead our mathematic faculty. This position would be ideal for someone looking for the next step in Middle Leadership, perhaps looking to Senior Leadership in the future.

The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post, will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
