About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced CNC Miller Programmer to join a precision engineering team specialising in aerospace components. You’ll be working on 4 and 5-axis CNC milling machines with Heidenhain controls, programming and producing high-quality, precision components to tight tolerances. The role involves creating, editing, and optimising programs, including speeds and feeds, for a range of materials.
Key Responsibilities
⦠Program, set, and operate 4 & 5-axis CNC milling machines
⦠Create and edit programs using Heidenhain controls
⦠Produce high-precision aerospace components to strict tolerances
⦠Calculate and optimise speeds and feeds for different materials and cutting conditions
⦠Maintain quality and accuracy throughout the machining process
⦠Work collaboratively with the team to meet production schedules
⦠Follow health, safety, and operational procedures at all times
Skills & Experience Required
⦠Proven experience as a CNC Miller Programmer
⦠Strong experience with Heidenhain controls
⦠Experience on 4 & 5-axis milling machines
⦠Aerospace machining experience is a strong advantage
⦠Strong understanding of precision measurement, tolerances, and quality standards
⦠Confident calculating and applying speeds and feeds
⦠Proactive and reliable team player
Benefits
⦠OTE £50,000 – £65,000 depending on shift and experience
⦠Overtime paid at x1.5
