Are you passionate about improving outcomes for the neonatal babies? We are seeking an experienced Band 7 Neonatal Specialist Occupational Therapistto join our dynamic Neonatal therapy team.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in a highly specialist area of neonatal occupational therapy. In this role, you will work within our acute neonatal unit and follow-up clinics, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team including specialist physiotherapists, dietitians, speech and language therapists, neonatologists, and specialist nurses.

The Senior Neonatal Occupational therapist is responsible for leading on establishing and maintaining the
acute neonatal Occupational Therapy service, using expert knowledge and applying current standards of
care and relevant research activity to continually develop the service. Whilst responsible for the neonatal
Occupational Therapy provision, they will also contribute to the training and development of staff within the
acute therapy team and the wider neonatal team, alongside other AHP colleagues.

• Provide specialist occupational therapy assessment and intervention for neonates within the acute neonatal unit and follow-up clinics.
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic, family-centred care.
• Act as a clinical expert and resource for neonatal occupational therapy within the Trust.
• Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives through theImproving Togetherframework.
• Support and mentor junior staff and students, promoting best practice and professional development.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with professional and Trust standards.
