About the role
The MIS department are now looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Exams Coordinator to join the FE Exams team. This is a fast-paced and diverse role which involves working across multiple exam boards and liaising with staff across all curriculum areas. The role includes responsibility for processing on demand and national dated exams, entries and achievements. The right applicant will need a keen eye for detail, be able to manage their own workload to internal and external deadlines and work well under pressure.
Other duties will include:
Ensure that all Exam Board Rules and Regulations are disseminated and upheld
Answer routine enquiries from staff, students and the exams term adhering to our Data protection policy
Maintain knowledge and understanding of Exam Board Rules and Regulations
Ensure all exams are entered timely and accurately and invigilated to the highest possible standard
About the person
Knowledge of exam board rules and regulations would be advantageous, and experience of working in a busy office environment is essential. The successful candidate will also have:
Level 2/ GCSE English and Maths or equivalent
Level 2 Business Administration qualification or equivalent experience
Excellent attention to detail and high standards of accuracy, with the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
Strong communication and customer service skills
The ability to work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and sharing knowledge.
The ability to remain calm and focused in a pressurised office environment.
The ability to analyse and absorb information quickly and a methodical and calm approach to problem‑solving.
Good Microsoft Office skills
