Nurture Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech and Language Teaching Assistant to support students with communication and language needs within a specialist education setting. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience or a strong interest in speech, language, and communication to work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team.
The Role:
As a Speech and Language Teaching Assistant, you will work under the guidance of a qualified Speech and Language Therapist to support students aged 16-25 with a range of needs, including learning disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and complex needs.
Key responsibilities include:

Supporting the delivery of speech and language therapy programmes

Working with students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups

Supporting communication using AAC and other appropriate strategies
