Maths Teacher – KS3
Location: Tonbridge
Contract: Full-Time - Temporary (Ongoing Cover)
Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a well-established and supportive school in the Tonbridge area. This is a full-time, temporary position starting immediately, teaching Key Stage 3 classes.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to make a real impact in a positive learning environment, supporting students to achieve their full potential in Maths.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to KS3 students
• Plan, prepare, and assess high-quality lessons for a range of abilities
• Monitor student progress and provide targeted support where needed
• Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and students
Essential Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Recent experience teaching Maths
• Proven experience teaching KS3
• Enhanced DBS certificate (on the Update Service or willing to apply)
• Available to start ASAP
