English Teacher – Tonbridge
Full-Time | Temporary (Monday 9th February 2026 – Friday 2nd April 2026)
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a well-established school in the Tonbridge area on a full-time, temporary basis. The role starts in February 2026 and runs until April 2026, with the possibility of extension. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students across KS3, GCSE, and A-Level.
Key Responsibilities
• Teach engaging and effective English lessons across KS3, GCSE, and A-Level.
• Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons tailored to all abilities.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide support to help students achieve their full potential.
• Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental activities.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents to promote a positive learning environment.
Essential Requirements
• Recent teaching experience in English.
• Relevant teaching qualification with QTS.
• Proven experience teaching KS3, GCSE, and A-Level.
• Current Enhanced DBS certificate.
• Availability to start in February 2026.
