Summary
About the Role:
Right at Home Hemel Hempstead is an award-winning homecare provider, and we are looking for a compassionate and reliable female Care Assistant to support our clients in their own homes during evenings and weekends.
This role offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference by helping people live safely, happily, and independently at home, while promoting dignity, respect, and emotional wellbeing. Full training and ongoing support are provided, and previous care experience is not required.
Please note: This role is restricted to female applicants due to the personal care needs of our female clients and is exempt under the Equality Act 2010.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing personal care and support with daily living activities.
Assisting with meal preparation and safe medication support.
Offering companionship and emotional support.
Supporting light household tasks to maintain a safe environment.
Building strong, trusting relationships with clients and their families.
Recording daily care notes via a mobile app.
Requirements:
Availability to work evenings and weekends (essential)
Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential)
Right to work in the UK
Aged 18 or over
Living within approximately 10 miles of Hemel Hempstead
A caring, empathetic nature with good communication skills
