TeacherActive is currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools in Billericay and the surrounding areas. With growing demand from our partner schools, we have flexible opportunities available on both a day-to-day and long-term basis.
This role is ideal for graduates considering a career in teaching, experienced education professionals, or individuals with strong behaviour management skills who are keen to work in a school environment. You will be delivering pre-set work, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring students stay on task in the absence of their usual teacher.
Thanks to our strong relationships with local schools, we can find placements that match your availability, preferences, and career goals. You will also receive ongoing support and guidance from a dedicated team who truly understand the education sector.
The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
Experience working with young people (school-based experience is desirable but not essential)

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
•
The confidence to lead a class and follow lesson plans set by teaching staff
•
Excellent communication and organisational skills
•
A flexible and proactive approach
