Job&Talent are recruiting for two experienced Customer Service & Logistics candidates in the Crayford area. We are looking for hardworking, experienced Customer Service professionals to join the team. Our client is ramping up for new business opportunities and is looking to hire two Customer Service team members: one office-based role and one office/warehouse-based role.
As a Customer Service Agent you will need to have:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
- Good time management and attention to detail
- Confidence using computers, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- A good standard of written and spoken English
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, balancing time between warehouse scanning tasks and desk-based duties.
- Experience in Logistics would be a bonus
Salary :
- Starting at £14.02 per hr
- Our client offers training, suitable for previous experience
- We are currently looking for a Full time, temp to perm role
- Location : Crayford (DA1 4GN)
- Hours of work: Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00/09:00-18:00
Role of a Customer Service Agent :
- Ensuring customers' urgent packages reach the correct destination on time
- Handling incoming customer calls regarding shipment collections and delivery enquiries
- Investigating failed deliveries or collections where required, prioritising and reallocating shipments for next-day delivery
- Accurately entering and maintaining data within our in-house tracking systems
- Communicating clearly and effectively with colleagues, management, and other operational stations
- Adhering to client processes, procedures, controls, and all relevant regulatory requirements
- Completing searches within a warehouse environment when required to help locate customers' freight
- The Moving of and Scanning of Packages within a warehouse environment to enable visibility for team members and customers
