We are a busy and dynamic office based in bexleyheath providing home-to-school transport services for Kent County Council (KCC). Our team is dedicated to ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient transport for children across the region. We are looking for a motivated Customer Service & Administrative Assistant to join our team and help keep our office running smoothly.
Job Overview:
As a Customer Service & Administrative Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for parents, schools, and drivers. You will play a key role in managing communications, ensuring that messages, complaints, and information are handled accurately and efficiently, and supporting the administrative needs of the office.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer incoming calls, emails, and messages in a professional and friendly manner.
Receive, log, and respond to complaints or concerns from parents, schools, or drivers.
Relay messages accurately and promptly to the relevant office staff.
Maintain clear and precise records of all communications.
Support general administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and document management.
Assist in coordinating schedules and transport arrangements as needed.
Ensure that all messages and instructions are passed on correctly to prevent miscommunication.
Requirements:
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
Basic IT skills, including MS Office and email systems.
Previous experience working with children or vulnerable adults is preferred.
A proactive and organized approach to work.
