• 35 to 40 hours per week
• Overtime available during peak trading periods
• Based at our Martock Nursery (TA12 6PD)

What does the role generally require and include?
• Driving our Class 2 vehicle to deliver plants and products directly to our four garden centres
• Supporting the nursery team with day to day tasks when not driving
• Regular weekday driving with additional weekend work required during peak seasons (Spring, Christmas, and other busy periods)
• Physical work including lifting, loading and unloading
• Working as part of a supportive, friendly team across both the nursery and our stores
• Applicants must have their own transport to get to work due to limited public transport links to the nursery

Role Specifics
• Delivering plants and products from our Martock nursery to our garden centres
• Loading and unloading the lorry (store teams assist at each location)
• Supporting nursery operations including: – Helping the production team grow and maintain plants – Pricing and labelling plants for distribution – Picking and preparing orders for transport
• Maintaining high standards of presentation and care for all products handled
• Ensuring safe, efficient and timely deliveries
• Working closely with familiar teams across all sites – no multi drop courier work and no overnight stays required
Skills & Requirements
• Full and clean Class 2 HGV licence
• Physically fit and comfortable with lifting and manual work
• Willing to work within the nursery when not driving
• Reliable, positive and able to work well within a team
• Good communication skills and a friendly approach
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and care
Employment Specifics
• Full time permanent role, 35–40 hours per week
• Weekend availability required during peak trading periods
• Holiday entitlement: 28 days per annum (pro rata)
• Payroll is processed every four weeks
• Casual dress, on site parking and company events included
• Long term career opportunities available within our expanding business
• Based entirely on site at our Martock nursery
