Child Specific Teaching Assistant
15 hours per week : Monday to Friday 8.45-11.45am Term Time only (plus all inset/staff training days)Salary: Point 3-5 FTE: £28,616 – £29,434 Pro rata 3-5: £10,410 - £10708St Matthew’s C of E Primary School is looking to appoint a Child Specific Teaching Assistant to work with a child with SEN who is currently Reception age and in receipt of an Education Healthcare PlanThe successful applicant will:
Have excellent communication skills
Be able to follow instructions but also use their initiative
Be able to develop positive relationships with the pupils which motivate them to learn
Have O Level/equivalent qualification of Grade C or above in English and Maths, or relevant experience in schoolsDesirable skills and experience:
Experience with Autistic Spectrum Condition, Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language
