As a Patient and Carer Involvement Ambassador you will be part of the Co-production and Partnership Team supporting the Head of Co-production and Partnerships and the Co-production and Partnerships Development Manager in their work. You will champion the needs of service users and carers using our services and ensure their views are heard across the Trust.

You will need to be confident, engaging and compassionate, able to extend warm and welcoming invitations to people using our services and those who support and care for them, encouraging them to be involved, and working with them to shape and influence service development, provision and design based on their lived experience.

This post has opportunities to positively shape and influence the role and build and develop important relationships with patients, carers, staff, stakeholders and partners.

Being a key member of the Co-production and Partnerships Team including providing administrative support, being a key point of contact for the team, developing communications, communicating messages and supporting co-production projects.



Co-ordinating and co-facilitating groups and forums for service users, patients and carers and supporting the Co-Production and Partnership Team to develop increased and more diverse engagement in the forums, groups and meetings we offer.



Working with service users, patients, carers, staff, local community groups and system partners to build relationships and develop strong, vibrant and lasting resources that can help shape our services.



Working with, and supporting service users, patients and carers to be involved in the work of the Trust and contribute to service development and service improvement. This includes supporting with managing the Trust Involvement Register and payment system for service users and carers.



Mapping out existing opportunities to connect with service users and carers across our three boroughs to support this work and develop further networks.



Participating in relevant Trust meetings and forums as required and representing the Coproduction and Partnership team both internally/externally at a local and national level where relevant.
