RESPONSIBILITIES Patient Safety & Clinical Governance Support the management and review of clinical incidents, complaints, and safety concerns. Contribute to clinical investigations, learning actions, and improvement plans. Support governance meetings and provide clinical input into assurance processes. Quality & Regulatory Compliance Support compliance with CQC standards, NICE guidance, and contractual requirements. Assist with clinical audit programmes and quality improvement activity. Help identify risks, trends, and priorities for action. Clinical Standards & Policies Support the development, review, and implementation of clinical policies and procedures. Help ensure consistent, evidence-based practice across all services and sites. Medicines & Clinical Safety Oversight Support oversight of medicines management, including controlled drugs, FP10s, and resuscitation equipment. Assist with monitoring clinical competency and safe practice. Workforce Compliance & Induction Support monitoring of mandatory training, professional registration, DBS, and induction compliance. Contribute to the development of standardised clinical induction and support processes. Collaboration & Reporting Work closely with clinical, operational, and corporate teams. Support the preparation of reports, audits, and assurance information. Represent the organisation at meetings as required. Ways of Working The post holder will be expected to work autonomously within agreed policies and procedures. The role requires strong organisational skills, flexibility, and the ability to prioritise workload. Some evening working (up to 8pm) and travel between sites will be required.
