Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced woodwork machinist to join our team with immanent start. The ideal candidate will have a passion for craftsmanship and a strong understanding of woodworking techniques. Must be familiar with all woodworking machines i.e. spindle moulders, planer thicknessers, edge banding, panel saws etc. The Woodworker will be responsible for operating machinery, and ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality.
Previous experience is essential.
Operating various machines within our workshop
Loading timber into machines as required
Ability to work to deadlines
Planning work and work station
Ability to work alone or as part of a team
Carrying out other duties within the factory, as required
Perform work in accordance with specifications, instructions, and/or company policies
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors
Responsibilities
Operate woodworking machinery and tools, including mills and hand tools, to shape and finish wood components.
Assemble wooden structures and products according to specifications and design plans.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Conduct regular maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards
