Children's Team Manager - Localities (Gr 9)*

Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Team Manager to lead our Localities team at Grade 9. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality services and support to children and families within our community. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by children and their families. You will manage a team of dedicated professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the team's alignment with our organizational goals and local authority policies, providing guidance and direction to ensure the best possible outcomes for the children we serve. You will also be responsible for developing effective partnerships with other agencies and stakeholders, advocating for the needs of children and families and ensuring that services are accessible and responsive. This position requires a strategic thinker who can navigate complex situations, make informed decisions, and lead by example. Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of professionals delivering services to children and families in localities.
Develop and implement service strategies to meet the needs of children and families in the community.
Monitor and evaluate the quality of services and outcomes for children and families, making necessary adjustments as needed.
Collaborate with other agencies and stakeholders to enhance service delivery and support for children.
Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of professional development and accountability.
Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the sustainability of services provided.
Ensure compliance with local authority policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.
Requirements
A relevant professional qualification in social work, youth work, or a related field.
Significant experience in managing teams within children's services or related sectors.
Strong understanding of legislation and policies surrounding child welfare and protection.
Proven track record of delivering high-quality services and achieving positive outcomes for children and families.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex situations.
Ability to work collaboratively and build constructive relationships with other professionals and stakeholders.
