Launch Your Clinical Career: Assistant Psychologist – Trailblazer Programme

Are you an aspiring Clinical Psychologist looking for high-quality, supervised experience within a new service?

We are thrilled to offer a unique opportunity to join our Trailblazer 'Life Re-worked' Programme. This is a brand-new role designed to support service users across Primary Care and Employment teams, bridging the gap between health and sustainable wellbeing.

If you are looking to gain the robust clinical and research experience required to transition toward Doctoral study, this is the perfect platform for you.

Why this role is a career-defining opportunity:
• Innovative "Trailblazer" Service: You will be at the forefront of a new programme, coordinating psychological interventions immediately following GP onboarding. You’ll be helping to shape the delivery of evidence-based care in a modern, integrated setting.
• Clinical Breadth: Under the guidance of a Qualified Psychologist, you will support delivery of professional psychological care across primary care, employment, and skills teams.
• Research & Audit Exposure: This role isn’t just transactional. You will lead on clinically related administration, audits, & the collection of statistics, essential experience for any future Doctorate application.
• Collaborative Learning: You will work independently but within a highly supportive framework, enhancing your skills in assessment, project work, and multidisciplinary team-working.

What we are looking for:
• Aspiring Professionals: You hold a degree in Psychology (GBC status) & have a passionate interest in mental health and community-based interventions.
• Proactive Coordinators: You can manage the logistics of patient onboarding & therapy coordination while maintaining a high standard of clinical support.
• Analytical Minds: You are comfortable with data, audits, & research projects, understanding how they translate into better patient outcomes.
• Team Players: You have excellent communication skills & can build relationships across Primary Care & Employment services.
