An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Cardiff West Community High ALN provision.
In this role, you will be required to deal with issues that pupils are facing that can hinder their learning, you will have a good knowledge of strategies and services available to help the pupils overcome these challenges. You will also be required to run well-being interventions to individuals and groups.
You should be able to demonstrate excellent skills when working with individual children with emotional health & wellbeing needs. The successful candidate will need to have good interpersonal skills, be confident and innovative, reliable, flexible and a self-starter. Knowledge of ALN processes would be advantageous to this post however training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
