The Governors of Rumney Primary School wish to appoint a highly motivated, proactive, enthusiastic and flexible Senior Teaching Assistant as soon as possible.
The successful candidate will need to:
• contribute significantly to the ethos and values of our school;
• have high expectations of themselves and pupils’ achievements;
• be highly flexible and prepared to work across the whole school with all age groups;
• be able to work closely with classroom teachers to inspire and challenge children through an innovative and creative approach to learning in the classroom and outdoor learning environment;
• be able to work closely with the ALNCo to support the needs of individual pupils;
• be prepared to cover classes for short periods of time.
• demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to nurture relationships with staff, pupils and parents;
• be adaptable, resourceful and innovative;
• have excellent communication and IT skills.
Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
