Job Title Self Employed Support Worker
About the service user Support for a 40 year old man with an acquired brain injury which causes cognitive difficulties. L has experienced a bereavement and needs some support to get back on track, he has low mood and can lack motivation.
L masks his condition, he presents as very confident but does experience social anxiety.
L works part time and has a 5 year old daughter who is very important to him.
Hours and rate of Pay
5.75 hours per week @ up to £23 per hour depending on experience.
Enhanced DBS Clearance is essential.
What you would be doing…
Support with motivation to complete daily living tasks such as keeping his living space clean and tidy, support with paperwork, bills etc., When L feels more on track supporting him to access the community like going to the gym.

Someone who has knowledge/understanding of acquired brain injuries and the challenges it can bring.
Someone who has life experience, who strives to support others to live their best lives.
Someone who is reliable and trustworthy and is willing to be encouraging and motivating.
