Job Description:
Mess Accountants Administrator– RAF High Wycombe, Walters Ash, HP14 4UE
We arelooking for a detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to provide essential financialand administrative support to our site. This role covers a range ofaccounting functions, including payroll, invoicing, billing, and month-endtasks, ensuring smooth financial operations and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including bookkeeping, invoicing, and reconciliation of accounts.
- Process payments to external partners and manage supplier invoices, credit notes, and purchase orders.
- Organise and store financial documents in both digital and paper formats.
- Assist with month-end procedures, compliance, and reporting.
- Reconcile cash/cheques on a daily basis to prevent errors and ensure that all monies are correctly accounted for
- Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and within required timeframes.
- Provide additional financial support as needed.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Experience in finance administration, bookkeeping, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- A proactive approach with an interest in career development within finance.
