The Role: Manufacturing Engineer

An opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Engineer to join the structural airframe components function within the UK operation. The role will play a key part in developing, improving, and supporting advanced manufacturing processes from concept through to production.

Key Responsibilities
  • NC programming using CATIA V5


  • NC program simulation using Vericut


  • Creation and maintenance of manufacturing routings


  • Development of detailed process instructions


  • Supporting shop floor prove-out of new and existing processes


  • Design and manufacture of tooling and fixturing in line with business requirements


  • Identifying and implementing opportunities for manufacturing process improvements


  • Providing cross-functional support to other areas of the business as required


    Essential Skills & Experience
    • Strong problem-solving ability, high work ethic, and professional integrity


    • Minimum 5 years’ experience programming CATIA V5 for complex aerospace components


    • Proven experience designing and implementing manufacturing fixturing


    • Hands-on experience machining a range of materials, primarily Aluminium and Titanium


    • Team-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency


    • Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment


    • Clear alignment with values centred around excellence, innovation, and collaboration


      Desirable Experience
      • Vericut simulation experience


      • Experience operating and/or programming Mazak machine tools
