Hi Louisa Morgan, here, I am a Specialist Recruiter working for Workforce Finance Team, specialising within the Accountancy Space, I am excited to present an excellent opportunity for a Payroll Specialist to join a growing and dynamic payroll team within a very well established accountancy firm. I am keen to speak with Payroll Experts who have experience supporting a portfolio of clients, you will need to have experience working within an accountancy practice.
Key Responsibilities
• Process payrolls for a diverse range of clients, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
• Investigate and resolve payroll queries from clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
• Manage both routine and complex administrative tasks related to payrolls.
• Set up new payrolls and onboard existing payrolls for new clients.
• Liaise with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth payroll processing.
• Set up pension schemes, submit pension schedules, and resolve any related queries.
• Manage auto-enrolment and redeclaration of pensions.
• Stay up to date with changes in payroll regulations and legislation.
• Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and GDPR guidelines are maintained at all times.
You will need to have a….
• Minimum of 3 years' payroll experience
• Experience with BrightPay payroll software
• Previous experience in a payroll bureau or accountancy practice is desirable.
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to successfully multitask and manage multiple payrolls at once.
• Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work to a high standard with minimal supervision.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
