Summary
This is a new role which will sit within our Nursing and Health Care Support Worker team. We are looking for someone to work 4 days per week for approximately 3 to 3.5 hrs each day and are flexible on the exact hours of work provided they are between 8am and 3pm. Key Responsibilities Perform venepuncture and capillary blood sampling on patients of all ages Ensure correct patient identification and accurate labelling of samples Prepare samples for laboratory analysis in line with protocols Maintain high standards of hygiene, infection control, and health and safety Reassure patients and provide clear explanations of procedures Record and update patient information accurately Dispose of clinical waste safely and appropriately Report any adverse reactions or incidents promptly Maintain stock levels and equipment cleanliness
