Responsibilities
Provide direct support to families in their homes and community environments.
Conduct assessments to identify family needs and develop tailored support plans.
Facilitate access to resources such as counseling, financial assistance, and educational programs.
Promote positive parenting techniques and enhance family communication skills.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive service delivery.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of support provided and make adjustments as necessary.
Maintain accurate and confidential case records in compliance with organizational policies.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field.
Previous experience in family support or social services is preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with families.
Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload.
Demonstrated understanding of family dynamics and challenges.
Cultural competency and sensitivity to diverse family backgrounds.
Proficient in computer applications for documentation and reporting.
Hours Per Week: 37.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £14.59
