Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an ARC Senior Support Worker (CS) Grade 6. This role is pivotal in providing high-quality support and care to individuals with varying needs, ensuring that they receive the attention and assistance they deserve. As a Senior Support Worker, you will be responsible for leading a team of support workers, guiding them in delivering person-centered care that promotes the well-being and independence of our service users. You will play an active role in assessing individual needs, creating and implementing support plans, and monitoring progress to ensure that our commitment to excellence is upheld. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of the care sector, and a passion for advocating for the rights and preferences of those we serve. Collaborating with families, healthcare professionals, and community services will be essential in developing a holistic approach to support. This position not only requires a hands-on approach but also involves administrative responsibilities such as record-keeping and reporting. Responsibilities
Lead and support a team of support workers in delivering high-quality care.
Develop, implement, and monitor personalized support plans for service users.
Conduct assessments to determine needs and preferences of individuals requiring support.
Provide guidance and training to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of service user progress and incidents.
Collaborate with families, social services, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
Promote a positive and inclusive environment that empowers service users and encourages independence.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years experience in a care or support role, preferably in a leadership position.
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care or relevant field.
Strong understanding of person-centered care principles and practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work as part of a team while also demonstrating effective leadership.
Competence in handling administrative tasks, including the use of IT systems for record-keeping.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and training in the care sector.

Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £16.62
