We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ARC Support Worker Grade 5 to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
Provide direct support to clients in daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
Create and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with clients and other professionals.
Assist clients in developing social skills and engaging in recreational activities.
Monitor and document clients' progress and changes in their physical and mental health status.
Advocate for clients' rights and needs in various settings.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
Attend and participate in training sessions, team meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
Proven experience in a support worker or similar role, preferably in an ARC environment.
Relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate IV in Disability or Community Services.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and their families.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to support clients in their daily lives.
Understanding of the principles of person-centered care and clients' rights.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
Hours Per Week: 37.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £14.59
