About the role
Source Supply are seeking to appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work in a primary school in the Chesterfield area. This is a full-time role, five days a week, working as a mainstream class Teaching Assistant in a Year 2 classroom. You will support the class teacher in delivering planned lessons and contributing to a positive learning environment. This welcoming primary school places a strong value on every member of its community and is known for being a friendly and supportive place to work.
Requirements
Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and training. All successful applicants will:
- Experience in working with children in a school or specialist setting
- A nurturing, patient and consistent approach
- Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.
- Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.
- Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
