Do you have experience supporting pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)?
Source Supply are working with a welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in Chesterfield to recruit a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant. This role involves providing 1:1 support to a pupil who requires additional help to access learning and achieve their full potential. You will work closely with the class teacher and the SENDCO to deliver tailored support and guidance.
Experience supporting children with SEND—such as autism, ADHD, or speech and language needs—would be highly advantageous.
Requirements
Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and training. All successful applicants will:
- Experience in working with children in a school or specialist setting
- A nurturing, patient and consistent approach
- Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.
- Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.
- Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
