What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for someone with:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent experience)
• Experience of working in early years/KS1/KS2
• Significant experience supporting autistic children /SEN experience
• A patient, resilient, and caring approach
• Enthusiasm and a keen interest in ongoing professional development in the field of autism

Are you passionate about supporting autistic children to thrive in their learning and development in a purpose-built specialist provision? Join our dedicated and highly experienced team at The Windmill School, an autistic day special school based in High Barnet.

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant in our Primary Department, you will work closely with skilled professionals to provide individualised support to pupils, enabling them to access the curriculum and develop key life skills. You will play an essential role in creating an inclusive, nurturing, and safe environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential.
