Summary

We are looking for two P6 Planners at our Ilkeston and Southeast England locations who are detail-oriented and proactive to join our Project Controls team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the development, maintenance, and oversight of detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring effective planning, progress tracking, resource allocation, and risk mitigation across a diverse portfolio of projects. Your expertise will be key to enabling informed decision-making and driving successful project delivery.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a highly capable planner who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and brings a sharp eye for detail. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, with a solid understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) and Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to assess and resolve scheduling conflicts
  • Communication Skills: Clear and confident communicator, capable of presenting complex data to diverse stakeholders
  • Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, contractors, and clients
  • Project Controls Experience: Familiarity with project management methodologies, tools, and NEC3 contracts
  • Proactive Mindset: A self-starter who anticipates challenges and drives solutions
