We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Portfolio Surveyor (Gr L)* to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing and assessing a diverse portfolio of properties, ensuring that all surveying activities comply with current legislation and industry standards. As a Portfolio Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality services to our clients, including property valuations, assessments, and strategic advice. The successful candidate will have exceptional analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex property-related data. You will work closely with stakeholders to provide expert advice on property investment decisions and risk management, ensuring that our clients maximize their portfolio’s potential. This position requires excellent communication skills, as you will be interacting with clients, colleagues, and other professionals in the industry. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation and records of your assessments and findings. Responsibilities
Conduct regular property inspections and assessments to evaluate conditions and compliance.
Provide accurate valuations and financial appraisals for properties within the portfolio.
Prepare detailed reports and documentation on findings and recommendations.
Collaborate with property management teams to implement surveying strategies and best practices.
Advise clients on property acquisition, investment opportunities, and risk assessments.
Stay updated with relevant legislation, regulations, and industry trends affecting property surveyors.
Engage with stakeholders to ensure expectations are met and deliver excellent customer service.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Real Estate, or a related field.
Professional membership with a recognized surveying institution.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a surveying role, preferably in property management or consultancy.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and assess property data accurately.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders.
Proficiency in using surveying software and tools for assessments and reporting.
A valid driver's license and willingness to travel for property inspections.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £41.90
Location: Kingston Upon Thames, South West London
